The winter has been much kinder this year, and we have achieved a great deal of hedge laying and general tree felling.
The storms did not hit us hard, as we are so well sheltered, and we had far less rain than last Christmas, when Dulverton actually flooded. The safari shower tent survived the hurricaine too!
The Shepherds Hut comes out of storage this month, and we are looking forward to it sitting in a new position this summer.
The Wild Meadow is available for a limited period over the summer, for groups to exclusively book a field to themselves. |

At last the grass grew and the weather got warmer. The pitches are looking fantastic, and the picnic benches arrived. On Friday we had the gentleman arrive from the Camping and Caravaning Club....waiting with baited breath we were thrilled to be told we had become an exempted site. We are now officially a campsite!

We are so excited to have a lovely old shepherds hut arriving for the summer. The hut dates from the late 19th century, and has recently undergone a gentle restoration. Taskers of Andover made the hut and being tin clad, has survived the last century well. Much of the hut is original and will make a beautiful and romantic retreat by our stream.
